Here’s another song (three in all) for which I wrote the lyrics and which appears on Chris Almoada’s 2010 CD.
ANOTHER MORNIN’
Another mornin’
The rain is pourin’
A little lovin’
Is all I need
The pane is foggin’
My lonely noggin
This rain is causin’
My heart to bleed
Another day
Another night
The sky is grayin’
This can’t be right
So what I’m sayin’
My soul is prayin’
To stop the mournin’
And start anew
Should a woman smile
My heartache undo
A woman
I matter to
The mornin’ would see
The lover in me
Make the night worthwhile
I’m just a-dreamin’
My heart is screamin’
A woman’s lovin’
Is what I need
A lovin’ beacon
Is what I’m seekin’
My knees to weaken
My way to lead
Where did the sun go
Where is the rainbow
Lonely tears
To sweep away
I could weep many years
When hope disappears
So please woman don’t delay
Another mornin’
I’m still ignorin’
If love is comin’
At any speed
I’m still awaitin’
My lovely maiden
My hope is fadin’
Will love succeed
Another mornin’
The rain’s still pourin’
The wind is blowin’
Against the weed
No flower knockin’
No door unlockin’
To let my love in
The one I need

I don’t know his work, so cannot appreciate the artist. However, I applaud any effort at songwriting and creativity, so well done.

You can go to http://www.reverbnation.com and listen to some “premix” samples from the 2014 CD, and also songs from the 2010 CD. Be aware, though, that the premix samples are not necessarily excerpts from the final product, as some will be re-recorded both vocally and in terms of arrangement.
