I’m currently reading “The Mammoth Book of Limericks,” published by Constable & Robinson LTD (London), and edited by Glyn Rees. Since this blog is, in part, dedicated to my writings, in whatever form they may take, I thought I’d share my first limerick, which I concocted last night while in bed, but fashioned in rhyme just today.
A cranky and creaky old judge
From his rickety couch would not budge
Till his wife caused him pain
With a whack of her cane
And now the old judge holds a grudge
