Fascinating…
First Officer Spock played a critical role.
He practiced straight logic and strict self-control.
He had Vulcan ears,
But shed Human tears
When locked up emotions broke loose from his soul.

Details of a garden variety murder…
A crooked attorney in Flanders
Who’d slipped politicians backhanders
Was found lying dead.
A hasty note read:
“You poisoned my drink! Oh, Lee Anders!”

The song is “Rabbits May Be Dancing,” a Chris Almoada composition for which I wrote the lyrics. It’s appropriate in a public service announcement about bullying because President Andrew Jackson (“Sharp Knife”) bullied the Choctaws and other tribes into abandoning the South and embarking on the perilous journey known as the “Trail of Tears.”
Political doublespeak…
The senator polished her nameplate
While giving a speech on low birth rate.
“My voters take heart!
I’ll do my own part.
I do, after all, have a mandate.”

Dinner and a drink…
A cow in Ovaca puts milk in her booze.
When she’s liquored up, that cow bellows and moos!
And ripens the breeze
When she cuts the cheese…
The smell all depends on the cud that she chews!

Happy and fit in the Pampas…
“I do cowlisthenics because,” said Fantina,
“Spoiled cows can get lazy.” She loved Argentina–
The pampas, the gauchos,
The herd that a cow chose
When not getting drunk at the local cantina.

The cow that jumped over the moon…
The Man in the Moon turned around. “Watcha doin’?”
“On nights such as this, cows like jumpin’ and viewin’!”
“You can’t be a cow
Because you meow!”
Catena just loved the farce side of the mooin’!
