Live to dye…
A dyer’s complexion became deathly gray.
He called on his doctor. “Please come straight away!”
The doctor’s reply:
“You do live to dye.
And dye, sir, you will–but perhaps not today!”

Dye hard…
A dyer’s apprentice was patient and quiet.
“I see in your eyes that you’re dying to try it.
So there’s your first try:
White cloth and blue dye.”
The boy took the cloth. He’s still trying to dye it.

Pigs are smart…
A pig farmer’s son name of Bonham O’Roarke
Was hauling a pig to the fair in New York.
The pig, at road’s fork,
Squealed, “Hey, doodle dork!
The fair’s to the right! What, you’ve never pulled pork?”
