The Candy Man had a rough childhood…
The boy brushed his teeth in great haste.
His toothpaste was bland to the taste.
He got dressed and raced
To school where he faced
A day without sweets–what a waste!

That abominable odor! A double limerick…
At base camp, a climber named Rupert Capetti
Complained that his partner, Jack Silva, smelled sweaty.
Of course, it was true, but Jack Silva was ready
To blame the rank smell on the mythical yeti.
“On my last ascent
I smelled such a scent.
I’m not worth a cent,
So my Sherpa sent
An animal tracker whose nerves were rock-steady
To fend off with tea bricks The Beast of Tibeti.”

Dessert menu madness in Martinique…
Nearby at Café Cinquante Pas (Macouba),
A tourist (American) shouted, “Aha!”
He liked what he saw,
And pointed his straw.
“I fancy a pamplemousse au chocolat!“
