A weekend ago, Brenda’s mood turned to blue.
The indigo bottle that she’d tried to glue
Was missing a piece.
But now she’s found peace.
Did Brenda go drinking? She’s drunk. That’s a clue!

Actually, it was in the back of mind, as were several other ideas. In the rainbow, indigo is between violet and blue, and I originally thought about using the name Violet. But I wanted to insert rhymes in the beginning of lines 1, 2, and 5 (weekEND AGO / INDIGO / brENDA GO), so I went with Brenda. Thanks for the link, Pete. I enjoyed hearing the music again!
